Niagara Transit is gathering feedback on their Service and Facilities Master Plan

The Niagara Transit Commission (NTC) is partnering with Left Turn Right Turn (LTRT) on their Facilities, Strategic Asset and Service Network Master Plan. The study is expected to take 18 months and will focus on optimizing services for public transit in Niagara over the next decade. The study is examining current transit infrastructure, service routes and operational strategies.

Catharine Street Closed Between Clarence Street and Charlotte Street

Beginning Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and continuing through Thursday, February 6, 2025, Catharine Street will be closed between Clarence Street and Charlotte Street for public utility infrastructure improvements. The closure may extend into Friday, February 7, 2025, depending on project progress.

The City of Port Colborne has launched a comprehensive public engagement campaign and is now collecting public feedback on the future of healthcare in Port Colborne.
Niagara Health is working towards a three-hospital system, including a new hospital, known as the South Niagara Hospital, which is under construction in Niagara Falls and expected to open in 2028.

Peters Construction Group will be completing the replacement of the watermain on West Street, south of Sugarloaf Street, on behalf of the City of Port Colborne. Construction is scheduled to begin on January 27, 2025, with an anticipated completion date of February 28, 2025, weather permitting.
